Legal Disclaimers
The following disclaimers apply to all use of the Motion To File platform and any documents generated by it.
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Not a law firm
Motion To File is a product of Alpha-Omega Industries, LLC, a California limited liability company headquartered in Indio, California ("MTF"). MTF is a software company. It is not a law firm, a legal-services provider, or a substitute for a licensed attorney. MTF does not represent clients, does not appear in court, and does not accept retainers.
2. No legal advice
Nothing on this website, in our documentation, in our marketing materials, or in any document generated by the Service constitutes legal advice. Information provided by MTF is for general informational and drafting-assistance purposes only.
3. No attorney-client relationship
Use of the Service — including creating an account, generating documents, contacting support, or any other interaction — does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and MTF or its personnel, contractors, or advisors. Communications with MTF are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
4. Working drafts only
All documents generated by the Service are working drafts intended to be reviewed, revised, signed, filed, or executed by a licensed attorney admitted in the relevant jurisdiction. Drafts may contain errors, omissions, outdated authority, or jurisdiction-inappropriate language. Independent legal review is required before any draft is used.
5. AI-generated content
Outputs are produced by probabilistic AI models that can and do make mistakes, including generating citations that do not exist. Verify every citation, statute, rule, and factual claim against an authoritative source before relying on it. See our Risk Disclosure Statement.
6. Jurisdictional limits
The Service is designed for use in connection with U.S. federal courts and the 50 U.S. states. Local-rule compliance tooling is in beta and limited to participating courts. We make no representation that any output complies with the rules of any specific tribunal. Use outside the United States is not supported.
7. No guarantee of outcome
MTF makes no warranty or prediction regarding the outcome of any matter, motion, negotiation, or transaction in which a Service output is used. Legal outcomes depend on facts, law, judges, opposing parties, and procedural posture that MTF cannot evaluate or control.
8. Third-party services and links
The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party services (e.g. CourtListener for citation lookups, payment processors, AI providers, cloud infrastructure). MTF is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, or terms of those third-party services.
9. Forward-looking statements
Statements on this website regarding planned features, roadmap items, jurisdictional coverage, compliance certifications, or future product capabilities are forward-looking and not binding. Actual availability may differ.
10. Trademarks
"Motion To File" and the MTF logo are trademarks of Alpha-Omega Industries, LLC. All other trademarks, service marks, and logos appearing on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
11. Governing terms
These disclaimers are in addition to, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund and Liability Policy, and Risk Disclosure Statement. In the event of any conflict, the most restrictive provision protective of MTF shall control to the maximum extent permitted by law.
