Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Alpha-Omega Industries, LLC, a California limited liability company headquartered in Indio, California, doing business as "Motion To File" ("MTF", "we"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data. Email, name, password hash, and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google OAuth).
  • Billing data. Plan, billing status, and a payment-method token. Card numbers are processed and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor — we never receive or store raw card data.
  • Matter inputs. Facts, party names, jurisdictions, claims, and other information you provide when generating a document.
  • Generated outputs. The working drafts produced by the Service in response to your inputs.
  • Usage data. Pages visited, features used, document types generated, error logs, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Device data. Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and similar technical information.

2. How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To generate, render, and deliver your documents.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To communicate with you about your account, billing, security, and product updates.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. AI processing

Generating a document requires sending your inputs to one or more large-language-model providers. We contractually require those providers not to use your inputs or outputs to train their public models. We do not sell your matter data and we do not use it to train MTF models or any third-party AI model.

4. Sharing

We share information only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (cloud hosting, AI inference, payments, email, analytics, customer support, error monitoring) under written confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MTF, our users, or the public.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-GCM-256 encryption at rest, client-side key derivation via PBKDF2 with 250,000 iterations for sensitive matter content, access controls, secrets management, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention

Account, billing, and usage data are retained for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, audit, and legal-defense obligations. You can delete a generated document from your account at any time; deletion requests for account data can be made via our contact page and are honored within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar U.S. state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address on our contact page. We will verify your identity before responding.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may impair the Service.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International users

MTF is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States under U.S. law, which may differ from the laws of your jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
